Tony Gittleson will represent Brookside with unparalleled passion, dedication, and commitment. I know what it takes to have an NC seat and what someone like Tony can do with it. Tony approaches every question with a relentless commitment to justice and a clear-eyed focus on how to instantiate it given real-world constraints. His attitude has made him not only a leader in legislative advocacy at Ikar and HODG, but a proven success, propelling the equitable and beautiful Livable Communities Initiative from architectural rendering to blackletter law. I wish I could vote for Tony to be my voice at City Hall. This year, you should.

Tony Gittleson is a passionate advocate for our neighborhood and our city. He is always willing to roll up his sleeves and do the hard work to understand an issue, and find a realistic and positive solution that pulls together all the stakeholders. He is passionate about our public schools, having a green and safe city, and most recently and urgently -- addressing the crisis of housing. I have worked closely with him co-founding both Larchmont Charter and the Livable Communities - and he will be a tremendous advocate for our neighborhood.

I have known Tony for the last 6 years. I have come to know him as a kind and caring human being and an extraordinary community member. I have volunteered with Tony, delivering lunches every sunday up to The Hollywood Food Coalition to be handed out to our unhoused neighbors, canvassed with him for campaigns for amazing candidates and partnered with him to find ways to make our city more livable for everyone. Tony’s dedication and passion for whatever he puts his heart into is unstoppable. Tony will be an amazing addition to our GWNC.
